Sunday, January 26: Pastor Bill will be continuing the series “God’s Grand Narrative” as we examine various aspects of “Jesus our Shepherd” from the life of David.
M.A.I.D. (Medically assisted in dying) : Thanks to all who are praying and have completed the on line survey. CBC reported the number of surveys received have set records for the responses. However, we must continue to pray that “life affirming” principles will form the foundation of any new government policy.
Church Directories: Please check your mail folders for new copies of our OAC directory. Thanks to Wendy for initiating and completing this task. Please use these directories to keep in contact with others within the OAC family and to bring each other before the Lord in prayer. Please respect the privacy of others by not distributing the directory to those outside of the OAC family.
Men’s Breakfast be held on Saturday, February 1. Men, please join us for an informal get together and breakfast at the Curling Club beside Tudhope Park at 8 am
Prayer meeting: A group has been gathering for prayer concerns from our community and beyond. You are invited to attend this evening, location will be confirmed, at 7 pm – 8 pm on Sunday evening, February 2.
Church family luncheon: This is a great time of fellowship following the morning communion service on Sunday, February 2. Please bring items to share for lunch.
OAC Community Resources: Information cards are now available outlining the resources being offered to our community. These include ALPHA (life questions and marriage), Marriage Mentoring, Life’s Healing Choices and CAP money course. See our web page or ask Pastor Graham or Bill for more information.
