Sunday Worship & Celebration, February 9, 2019: Pastor Bill will be continuing the series “God’s Grand Narrative” as we are challenged from selected passages in Isaiah, Word’s of Comfort and Hope.
February Benevolent offering: February’s offering will go towards offsetting some of the expenses that Doug & Anna will occur during their Bethel House India trip from February 13 to mid-March. Please note that gifts donated can be designated on your envelope towards them and placed in the offering box in front of the sound booth.
Men’s Breakfast be held on Saturday, March 7. Men, please join us for an informal get together and breakfast at the Curling Club beside Tudhope Park at 8 am
Prayer meeting: A group has been gathering for prayer concerns from our community and beyond. You are invited to attend this evening, at Bill & Gail Freeman’s home, at 7 pm – 8 pm on Sunday evening, March 1.
Lois Belsey, now retired International Worker with the CMA, will be sharing the Lord’s work in Papua, Indonesia on Sunday, March 8. This will be Lois’ official last visit to our church, however she is a friend of many and we will see her again in the future.
Church family luncheon: This is a great time of fellowship following the morning service on Sunday, March 8. Please bring items to share for lunch. Lois will join us and will facilitate a discussion concerning the Lord’s movement in Papua, Indonesia.
OAC Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, immediately following the morning worship. Annual meetings are required, for all nonprofit organizations, and all are encouraged to attend and speak into the Lord’s movement through OAC. Please note that only members may vote on motions. The annual report will be circulated no later than Sunday, March 12 for your review prior to the meeting.
OAC Community Resources: Information cards are now available outlining the resources being offered to our community. These include ALPHA (life questions and marriage), Marriage Mentoring, Life’s Healing Choices and CAP money course. See our web page or ask Pastor Graham or Bill for more information.
