Orillia Alliance Church – June 2, 2019

Sunday’s Message and service: Our Pastors are working through a series entitled “Life’s Healing Choices.” This series is based upon the Beatitudes preached by Jesus. This Sunday’s theme is “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

Men’s Breakfast will be this Saturday, June 1: Men, please join us for an informal get together and breakfast at the Curling Club beside Tudhope Park at 8 am.

Church family luncheon will take place this Sunday, June 2. Please bring items to share with others. Our next luncheon will be held in September.

Bethel House India: You are invited to join others in prayer for this vital ministry on Monday, June 3 @ 7 pm being held at Doug & Anna’s home at 96 – 1095 Mississaga St West.

Life’s Healing Choices: This is a “safe spot” for everyone working through the effects arising from past or present “hurts, hang ups and habits” issues. Together we will examine the Beatitudes of Jesus applied in the context of emotional healing.  The group presently running is now closed to new participants, however a new group will be initiated in September. Please see Pastor Bill or check our web page for start up details.

Bi monthly prayer meeting:  Interested praying within a small group? We will next meet on, Sunday June 9.

June’s Benevolent Offering: June’s benevolent offering will be designated towards Bethel House India to purchase teachings aids for India such as fetal models.

Kids’ Club: Children will join Rachel for age appropriate learning activities following our prayer request segment of the morning service.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Household financial management provides freedom as it honours God through sound stewardship His resources. Watch for the next group start up or speak to Daniel Roth if you are interested.

Pastoral Care or Contacting a Pastor Please call the church number (705 325 2571) at any time and your call will be answered by either Pastor Bill or Graham. Prayer requests may also be emailed to info@orilliaalliance.com . When requests are received, we will pray immediately with you and, at your request, will circulate the request through our church email.

Marriage Mentoring OAC has couples who have participated in the training and have now committed to meeting monthly to prayerfully support one another and sharpen their skills for mentoring couples the Lord brings to them. Please contact Pastor Graham if you would like to develop a relationship, as a couple, with another couple over the next year.

Small Groups Would you like to meet with others through the week for prayer, Bible study and fellowship? Please contact either Pastor Graham or Bill. Most groups have taken a summer recess, however please contact a pastor regarding the starting of a new group or joining one in the fall.
